A Chillcheater® provides a thermal barrier similar to a traditional wetsuit, but is lighter, more flexible and is easier to get on and off. The smooth polyurethane outer surface sheds water incredibly quickly minimising the effects of windchill. The matt black finish also maximises heat absorption from the sun and coupled with body heat maintains a thin layer of warm water between your skin and the fabrics.

After Care

For Aquatherm® and Aquatherm Fleece®

Recommend hand washing with warm soapy water.

Turn garment inside out. Short, warm, delicate wash, max 40 degrees in mild soapy water, (not detergent). Rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not spin. Do not wring.

Hang garments from their cuffs and neck to ensure that if there should be any water left then it can drain away easily.

Store clean and dry indoors away from heat and direct sunlight

Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not bleach. Do not dry over hot radiators or near excessive heat.

Care of your Chillcheaters.

It is very important you dont wear your chillcheaters without a protective layer over the waterproof sock.

The best item to wear is a snug fitting jetski / dive boot over the sock.

I put my socks on at home before I leave the house and even then I don’t walk around in them unless I have a protective footwear on first.

Wearing your CHCH without any protection will cause the sock to leak as the outside waterproof layer can wear away.

The sock will puncher if sand or gravel makes direct contact.

Be very careful when you remove your chch at the boat ramp that you don’t let the chch contact the asphalt or concrete.

How to repair damaged chillcheaters

Identify the leak in the sock by partially filling the inside with water. 

If there is a leak you will see water coming through to the outside surface.

Mark the area then dry the outside surface thoroughly. Paint on Epsealon Wetsuit 30g Glue for easy repair of small leaks. ( link below ) to the leaky area.

Apply a few coats then test for leaks again..
