⚠️ Maintenance – Twist Lock Collar Care
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your carbon fibre pole's twist-lock mechanism, regular maintenance is essential, especially in marine environments.
After each use:
Rinse the aluminium twist-lock collars thoroughly with fresh water to remove salt and debris.
Dry fully before storing.
Apply a few drops of high-quality reel oil (or similar corrosion-inhibiting lubricant) to the moving parts of the locking mechanism to prevent corrosion and binding.
Failure to maintain the locking collars may result in corrosion, seizing, or permanent damage, which is not covered under warranty.
